The International Athletes’ Union (US-SEN) continues its mission to defend the dignity and rights of athletes, promote justice and equality in global sports, and build a fairer, more united sporting world. As part of this vision, US-SEN is expanding its international network of representatives to strengthen athlete solidarity and spread the universal values of sport across all regions.
In line with these efforts, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Josef Novotný as the official US-SEN Representative in Czechia.
With a solid background in the sports world, strong ties to youth, a keen awareness of athletes’ struggles, and rich international experience, Josef Novotný is well-positioned to represent US-SEN’s vision in Czechia. He will not only be the voice of local athletes, but also a key figure in strengthening cooperation among athletes across Europe.
As President of US-SEN, I firmly believe that Mr. Novotný will contribute significantly to improving the status and rights of athletes in Czechia. Together, we will work to broaden access to union rights, amplify the transformative power of sport, and reinforce our global mission.
